People are fed up and do not want to be in a forced union with people they don't like. If done smartly, secession can be achieved without shedding a drop of human blood.
But who really won?

Did the people, the citizens of the Northern States win? Did the legislatures of the Northern States? Did the hundreds of Northern newspapers that were shut down by "honest" Abe win? What about the many local, State and federal Northern politicians that were arrested and incarcerated, without due process, and one who was expelled from his home State of Ohio to Canada? Did they win?

Short answer: NO!

Remember, the main cause for the South, contrary to what you learned in your school by revisionist Yankee "historians" and government employees, was the idea of the sovereign rights of the States; those rights that were eroding under an increasing power of the central government in DC (which, compared to today, we would consider it freedom, but I digress). These same rights that the Southern States claimed, were also enjoyed by the Northern States because that is what the Constitution guaranteed when it was ratified by the original Thirteen. Once the war broke out in 1861, Lincoln acted extra-constitutionally and started to consolidate the executive's powers and stealing or subverting the power of the congress, setting the standards for all of his successors. Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus, occupied cities and State houses, shut down dissenting Northern newspapers and arresting his political Northern opponents who disagreed with him and felt that the North should just let the South go their own way and suffer any consequences thereof.

This consolidation of power and corporatism, as the Northern industrialists enjoyed the federal money they got for manufacturing all sorts of weapons for "the cause", stayed on and, of course grew....and continues to grow today. The USA continues to feed the modern industrialists (the military industrial complex) and continues to look for enemies to kill. After the South, DC trained it's eyes on the American Indian tribes. After them, the Spanish and Philippines. Then, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War (spy state war), Grenada, Panama, Gulf I, Gulf II, Global War on Terror (so-called). The US government keeps finding enemies and keeps killing them into submission. This is American Exceptionalism???

So, not only did the South lose the war in 1865, so did the North. The people in those States may have fared better immediately after the cessation of hostilities and "re-unification", but they and their State houses lost their sovereignty and power also. All one has to do is look at federal legislation and federal and Supreme Court decisions over the last 100 years.

God help us all!Confederate Papisthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09234415577648475518noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7188856637380054982.post-21515692188276809772016-02-28T09:40:00.001-08:002016-02-28T09:40:31.235-08:00Much to the consternation of some, I'm still here.Yes. Unfortunately for Yankees, Statists, Heretics, Muslims, Hollywood, Khazar Jews and most politicians, democraps and repuglicans, I am still here.

I've been reading, watching, praying and going to Holy Mass. I've prayed for the world, I've prayed for peace, I've prayed for the end of empire and I've prayed for a more distributist (aka, free market) economic system to take hold of the world. I've prayed for family, friend and foe alike. I've prayed for the conversion of atheists, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddists and every other "-ists" there are in the world, including, and most especially, the neo-catholics that are dominating the Holy Catholic Church. I've also prayed for humility for myself, a sinner.

This post is short. I'm letting you know that I am still around. I somehow cannot get into my Facebook account as it converted me to a "group" instead of an individual. I guess it's because of my nom de plume. Oh well. Facebook can be very toxic to the soul.

So, I will start posting again about the dangers of the Empire, the false sense of "freedom" in the so-called electoral process (hint, we already have a winner), the escalating growth of power of the central Soviet in DC, the battle for Christendom in Europe, most importantly inside the Vatican, and the quest to restore the Church to pre-1962 status.

As we've seen from 2000, change is not always good. Over the last 16 years freedom has been diminished and instead of creeping towards totalitarianism, it is now a gallop. It will not be stopped. We will not be saved by Hillary, Sanders, Cruz or the Donald. These four are the most dangerous people in the USA. They all preach how they, through the power of government, will do what they promise to do. We've already have had 16 years of unconstitutional presidential rule, do we really need four to eight more?

Save yourself the trouble and do not get fooled by the "Carnival Barkers" and avoid getting involved in the Soviet. Get involved in your local community and your state and pressure them to resist the yoke of tyranny that DC promises. States that are free and sovereign have happy and productive citizens. It starts with you. Don't trust the politicians or their bureaucrats. Let 2016 be the start of your states' reclamation of her rights. Read Patrick Henry, Jefferson and John Taylor and know the true history of the founding. The constitution didn't create the States, the States created the constitution.
My last post of 30 January was in a different...much different....world than it is now. Consider, Benedict XVI was the Holy Father and DC, aka "Mordor on the Potomac", was trying to devise ways to increase taxes on the middle class...um...well, okay..not that much has changed in that regard I guess!

Here's the thing: what is going on now has been predicted by many people in the blogosphere, so I am not going to toot my own horn and make it sound like I was Nostradamus. In fact, I am probably the least informed and least connected out of the whole crowd. The last six months was spent getting acclimated to a new job...a job I really love. It keeps me busy and tells me I still have a lot to learn about my chosen field that I've been in for almost nineteen years.

What is going on now (and always has since at least the 1850's) is a globalisation that started in the legislative buildings in DC, which then exploded on the battlefields of the North American landscape and set in by the repressive "victor". From that point, all progress (think the Progressives) has been behind the scenes. We serfs think there is a two party system in the USA, but nothing could be further from the truth. What you see on TV, hear on radio and read on line through the MSM sites is pure propaganda, aided and abetted by Hollywood and financed by the globalist puppeteers. They may call themselves "Democrats" and "Republicans", but they are all part of the same party; the Progressive Party.

Just like in the old Soviet Union, where there was only One Party, that is how things are in these United Provinces of America. Everything the "kooks" used to say is coming into light...they're watching you, listening to you, they know how much money you have, where you spend it, what web sites you frequent, what house of worship you attend, etc. Didn't Senator Joseph McCarthy lose all sorts of credibility because of this type of "paranoia" and his "Red Scare" tactics?

Worse than this, the reaction..or the non-reaction of the public to this insane train-wreck we're on. More people are talking about the name of Kanye's and Kim's baby than they're talking about this. Are you serious?? And they say the government schools are failing? Huh! They're very successful by producing the sheeple they're producing now. Twenty-four year olds living with mommy and daddy still after six years of college studying the mating habits of African dung beetles or some crazy social-feel-good-bravo-sierra major they're offering these days in the institutes of Socialist learning they still call colleges and universities. You want to motivate these losers? Outlaw iPods or something, that'll get them charged up, otherwise they could be called the "Care-less" Generation, as in they could care less.

I am sorry for rambling on here..but six months is a long time and I am not unlike a Coke bottle that has built up pressure prior to opening..so I am all over the place.

Colorado's northern section wants to secede from the rest of the province, er, state. We've had Free Vermont people sound off, the Texas Nationalist Movement, our own Free Florida First and Republic of Florida movements, the Virginia Flaggers, etc. These movements ARE gaining steam and we all have to get behind them. Ladies and Gentlemen; the united States of America were not supposed to be the United States of America. True, after independence of the colonies from King George, there were thirteen peace treaties, one for each sovereign State that was formed as a result of the successful secession from the British Empire. True, the Articles of Confederation, the original document of the new united States...and far superior to it's successor in all ways, with the exception of the "perpetual union clause", was scrapped in favour of the Constitution, which, ironically, said nothing of perpetual unions and did affirm State sovereignty. True, there were ideological differences as to how to trade, manage commerce, collect taxes, currency, banking, etc., but the republican idea prevailed and became the preferred way to proceed. And true, most of all, from the year 1800, sections of the united States looked at and started secession movements. 1802, as section of northern States wanted to secede because President Thomas Jefferson secured the Louisiana Purchase, and the representatives in those States were afraid it would disrupt the balance of power in favour of the southern States. The movement, which lasted about ten to twelve years, ultimately failed. Many times, lead by the State of New Jersey, there were secession movements for the goal of a Mid-Atlantic Confederacy...never came to be. New York City, prompted by the secession of the seven southern States in 1861, was in the process of seceding from the State of New York and from the union so they could trade with the new Confederate States of America when the forces of Lincoln occupied the city and arrested the mayor Fernando Wood and shut down his brother's newspaper.

So my friends, secession was not made illegal by the illegal war of northern aggression that Lincoln made on the southern States. Where is the amendment? It's not there! Secession, the ultimate check on the power of the Federal government, was a way of life in the united States until the conclusion of Lincoln's war. It does not have to come at the point of a gun, and one drop of blood does not have to be shed...look at the breakup of the Soviet Union, aka the Evil Empire, the Soviet satellite states that gained their independence, the re-unification of the German State...all relatively peaceful.

When a relationship amongst parties goes bad, it is fitting and just for that relationship to cease if the differences cannot be solved. We are at that time now here in the so-called United States of America. Get involved in your communities, get involved in your State, join a League of the South chapter in your county..if your county doesn't have one..charter one! We can do this, but it's up to you!! Remember, only 30% of the colonists wanted to secede from the crown...the hard work has always been done by the few. Join me and the valiant citizens that want real freedom today!!

PS - I will try to blog more...but I cannot say it will be on a regular basis, so please be patient!!

I give him that title only because the movement gained prominence when he said on the air there should be another Tea Party in response to the arrogance and irresponsibility of the federal government.

Funny though...the feds preach to us all the time from a position that they know better and when it's us that point out what they're doing wrong, it's ignored or maligned. Do as I say......

I saw a comment earlier today that Democrats and Republicans, and all of their Hollywood and media sycophants, are in a "Federal Bubble". They both stir the pot by creating situations that effect the public at large, one way or the other, then sit back and watch the show as the two "sides" duke it out. I have to agree with that.

Once inside the DC Beltway (the bubble), one gets intoxicated by the power it exudes, and feels emboldened by the bubble that surrounds them. The pawns, plebes, serfs, chess pieces, whatever you want to call "us", are moved and shuffled around and then the DC elites sit back and watch what happens...then they admonish us when we're bad little children.

Part of the problem is shared by the electorate, of which I am one. Instead of doing the hard work that a responsible citizen is supposed to do, we flip on ET, TMZ, a ball game, or pop a movie in the DVD player. We vote (some of us), re-elect the same bunch of jackwagons and then complain when the crap hits the fan.

Why do we do this?

Apathy.

If what has happened to the status of what is known as the United States of America doesn't make you concerned, then you're in on the game, stupid, ignorant, apathetic, or all of the above.

The root cause of all of this is that We The People have let the looters and robbers run the country for almost 170 years, and not doing a thing about it. The first major response to this was the War of Northern Aggression against the Confederate States of America. This gave the Northern Industrial elitists, all of whom were former members of the disgraced Whig Party, a chance to make radical changes to the "American Experiment". Thus, and then it has continued to fester and grow...much of it during (so-called) Reconstruction and the Depression.

We all know what happened after that as the men came home from Germany and Japan after WWII and produced the Worst Generation (known as the Baby Boomers). These little spoiled brats are now in charge of the United States and are putting the royal screws to the Gen X'ers and Millenials with all of their Marxist policies. And what of the so-called "Greatest" Generation...the ones that produced them? They're dying off (either naturally or through the Boomers' Medicare/Aid system), apathetic (there's that word again!), or are enablers and supporters of these people.

What to do?

Well, when a ship starts to sink, you have three choices:

Bail the water out and fix it, if possible. It's supposedly been tried (Ronald Reagan), but not very successful in the long run..only because the captain's chair was vacated due to term limits.

Get in a lifeboat (women and children first!!!) and save yourselves and those who are near and dear to you. This refers to expatriation or secession.

Go down with the ship. Not an option for many outside of NYC and DC.

Believe me...if the ship goes down...and it will..none of the elite who are laughing at you know are going to be around to help..they will be insulated by their Federal Bubble and most, if not all will survive and not care one whit about you and yours.

The good news is, you don't have to participate either. Crashing through the bubble (i.e. revolution) will solve nothing, but getting into the lifeboat will. As Southerners we, and our Copperhead friends, need to start getting local, band together and start educating the local populations and the local and State governments in which they reside. Write letters, knock on doors, fly your State flag instead of the federal one. Show pride in your State...these folks are your neighbours. If they don't understand or buy the yankee propaganda, be respectful and show them the way. You won't get them all, but you will get some.

Your local representatives, I am sure, are tired of getting the federal squeeze. You may actually get a sympathetic ear, and possibly some public support. Don't discount any representative because of party affiliation. Many State and local Democrats do not share the DC mentality; and likewise, many State and local GOP'ers are complete idiots and DC-style elites...so don't stereotype! You may make a new friend and gain an unlikely ally!

Let the bubble be the bubble and float away into obscurity...it is the only way to save your State and community.

That is the question that is being bantered about in all aspects of media and the cyber-sphere. I was on Mark Shea's blog today were he had a post (with spirited comments in the comboxes) regarding "nutjob secessionists".

Knowing Mark's style, he was not saying all secessionists are nutjobs. As with any category, there will be people who want to take the extreme. Secession is no different. But how do you see past the clanging gongs of the faux secessionists?

First off; secessionists do not want anything to do with slavery and the reinstitution thereof. This was a dying institution in 1860 thanks to the Industrial Revolution, and if nothing had happened, whether secession or not, slavery would have self terminated. So, "no" to slavery!*

Secondly; real secessionists do not want war!! We do not have common beliefs or values, so why force a union where no one is happy? Oh, but we're Americans and we have the same roots and history, etc...., to which I say, "so does Canada, but they're not a part of the USA, now are they?" And we're great friends with Canada..they trade with us, enforce their side of the border with us, and they leave us alone to our affairs and we do likewise (I think). "If the South secedes there will be another war..." Okay, who's gonna start it, because it will not be us. We didn't start the last one (we really didn't...we warned the Union troops ahead of time and made sure no one was in the fort once firing started..and no one died) and we most certainly are not interested in starting another. In fact, when General Lee found out that Stonewall Jackson wanted to go to Washington DC, Lee stopped him because he said we were looking for independence, not conquest. No to war...any war!

Thirdly; we do not want to establish our own nation in the model of the United States...and no we do not want to model it after the Articles of Confederation either as they stated the United States would be in "perpetual union"...a term absent from the current Constitution of the United States. Our union will not be one of dictatorship, American "democracy" or monarchy. It will be one of a federal-based representative republic, which was in place prior to the 1850~60's, when it was replaced by the American Democracy style of government.

Fourth; and this is the crux if it all, "we just want to be left alone" as per Jefferson Davis.

I could go on and on, but you get the point. Ninety percent of what the United States government does violates the 10th Amendment, but no one says anything...and if they do, they're shouted down as a hater, ignorant, a Confederate or whatever.

Sadly, there are some who share our desire of secession...but want to pursue it via the sword and not the tongue. This is not our goal. Independence, not conquest. We just want to be left alone to work, go to church, play and enjoy our families and our free time, without drones or Big Sister (of subsequent Brothers) looking over our shoulders.

To the people of the North who want to stay aligned with the DC government; you do what you feel is best for you, and we will do what's best for us. We will not impose our values on you, and you please do likewise. We can co-exist as separate nations that can openly trade with each other and we'd all be a lot happier.

Think about it!

* Some of you will say, so "no to slavery, CP, but what about blacks and other minorities, like Hispanics?" Good question; let's start with blacks. No slaves right? Of course not! Blacks are free people and will be treated as equally as whites. With that being said, it means what it means. No affirmative action, no quotas, no forced de-segregation, none of the federal social engineering garbage that has destroyed the black family unity over the past 45 years! They are citizens of their respective State and will be subject to the laws of those States, just like everyone else, they want to go to work, live peacefully and go to school just like anyone else, so let them. Hispanics? First question: are they legal? If yes, everything I said about blacks can also be said about Hispanics. If no, then the laws that many States passed, like Arizona, Alabama and Georgia, will be enforced, unencumbered by a federal leviathan since it will not have the authority to interfere. However, a Confederate government would enforce it's laws and protect it's borders since this would be a national concern, but recognising no system is absolute, if State jurisdictions have to get involved, they will not be interfered with by the central government.Confederate Papisthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09234415577648475518noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7188856637380054982.post-28446511614027700302012-12-17T14:39:00.000-08:002012-12-17T14:39:08.100-08:00If They Ignore You, They Think You'll Go Away.....Certain events, like the unfortunate and horrible attack in the elementary school in Connecticut, are at the forefront of news events all over. Rightfully so. Twenty little children were taken from life here on God's Earth in a most violent way. We should focus our prayers for the community and the families of all the victims. Children were probably not the only ones scared to go to school today...I am sure some educators were too. Hug your children and your educators and tell them you love them!

That being said...our cause, secession..which was front page news for a while..has now been brushed aside..buried, if you will. Understandable, given what's happened.

However, while we can mourn for the dead, we must not forget that a growing Leviathan in DC is not deterred by these events and continues to consume your freedoms and your treasure. This must not stop!

Contact your State Legislator, tell him/her that secession is the only way for your state to survive the disaster they call the so called "United" States of America. While the event in Connecticut has united us in sadness and sympathy, we are still a divided people with less in common now than even in 1861. Time to separate is now.
Ever since the revised translation of the Mass last November, the reply of "It is right to give Him thanks and praise" was replace (appropriately) with "It is right and just"...however, my 1955 Missal has the translation as "It is fitting indeed and just". And since I read that missal daily, I admit that during the Preface, I unconsciously say "fitting" instead of "right".

How are you doing almost one year after the new translation? I'd love to read your comments.
The intent by the Holy Father was to modernise the Church, however many of us know that the attempt to modernise was hijacked and corrupted way beyond the imagination of a great many people.

The revision of the English-language Novus Ordo, which was long overdue, is approaching her one year anniversary. In the comboxes below, please share your struggles with these changes, and just frustrations you have with the NO in general over the past 45 years.

Jimmy Akin shared a story about the "troping" of the Agnus Dei in the National Catholic Register; http://www.ncregister.com/blog/jimmy-akin/vatican-stop-messing-with-the-lamb-of-god which is and has been a bur in my saddle forever. It was confusing to sing along with (which I *hate* singing the AD and the Pater Noster...hand holding too) and, according to Jimmy who did the research, it's *wrong*!

I've already shared my NO struggles; singing the Pater Noster (which, thankfully our parish does not do), holding hands during the Pater Noster (which, unfortunately our parish and many, many others do :-/), lay Eucharistic Ministers (disclaimer: I used to be one until I realised this should only be done by a priest or a deacon), and (I know I'm gonna catch hell for this one) "altar girls". Again, disclaimer: my daughter was one...I was very proud of her (and still am) however, this was before I learned that this is a gateway for young men to discern for Holy Orders which we all know is not open to women (or wymyn for you femi-nazis or pantsuit nuns).

I'd love to see your responses!
Habeas Corpus Suspension Day!One hundred fifty years ago today, the Tyrant of the Northern American States, Abe Lincoln, suspended habeas corpus, using the secession of the sovereign Southern States as an excuse.

He then sent Federal troops to occupy New York City because the mayor had expressed a desire not only to secede from the State of New York, but from the Union itself so they could continue trade with the Southern States. The mayor's brother was a newspaper publisher who sympathised with the Southern States and subsequently his newspaper was shut down.

He also sent Federal troops to Maryland, whereby they arrested and imprisoned the legislature because they had overwhelming support therein to vote to secede and join their Southern brethren. Ironically, Francis Scott Key's grandson was one of the many civilians in Maryland that was arrested and jailed.

He also arrested and deported Ohio Senator Van Landingham to Canada because of his vocal sympathy of the Southern Secession.

Remember: this is the guy Tyrant Obama fancies himself as being the most like.

Why?

While I grieve for the innocent lives that were lost that day...and I have no love for the militant Muzzies that were responsible for the attack, I don't feel the same way I did on the actual day.

Let me paint the picture. I've always been proud of the South and had hated how she is portrayed in media, entertainment, etc. I've hated how she was painted in regards to slavery, the cause of the "Civil War" [from this point referred to as the War of Northern Aggression or WNA] being her fault and other stupid things. But I considered myself an American Patriot and was proud of that too. Many of my Southern contemporaries felt the same way, so you can imagine what may have gone through my mind on the morning of 9/11.

My wife was working that day as a substitute teacher...so I couldn't call her. I needed to hear her voice to quell the fear I had brewing in my mind. My children....were they okay? They were in school...but what was going on there? Were we a target? My employees were freaking out and I had to be the cool hand, even though I didn't want to.

While at work we were glued to the TV. When I got home I turned on the TV and watched the coverage for hours. "Terrorism. Bin Laden," I thought to myself. I don't even remember when I hear that guy's name for the first time, but it popped into my head, before it was official that he was responsible.

Saying all that..during the time I have read, and watched, and read, and prayed. I learned a lot about the roots of the American Revolution, the struggle of the Founders to establish a confederacy of States with a common central government, how they pitched the Articles of Confederation and replaced it with the Constitution to appease the big government Federalists of Hamilton, et al. I learned how this set the table for the eventual secession of the seven Southern States after the election of Lincoln, the real reason Lincoln invaded the South [against the wishes of the majority of the Northern population, his military advisors and his inner circle, thereby forcing six other States to secede], and after he replaced many of the original generals, the total destruction and murder of old men, old women, mothers, children and slaves. The deplorable conditions of the so-called Reconstruction and it's subsequent treatment of all Southerners, white and black, as second class citizens. I read all of this..many of the sources were eye witnesses and are still available to anyone who wants to do the hard work of looking into the real story of the Confederacy, the first major country that was conquered by a growing Federal leviathan in Federal City.

This chain of events lead to the conquest of the Philippines, kicking the Spanish out of Cuba, entry into the European Great War and it's second war of German/Italian Fascist aggression, ending with the USA bombing of a predominately Christian city named Nagasaki. The empire must continue to grow, and continued to do so after VJ Day until we have arrived at the 09/11/2001~09/12/2012 time period, under the guise of the "Global War on Terror" [GWOT].

These chain of events have awakened many who considered themselves Southern American Patriots and made them/us realise they/we are just as oppressed and occupied as the Philippines or Iraq, including yours truly.

So while I don't believe the violence that happened that day was justified, and I wish it had never happened and those people were still alive today, I am not going to delude myself with the whole American Exceptionalism mindset that justifies flying off everywhere they think the next threat that's out there. They can keep doing it all they want for all I care....I just don't want them using Southern men and women as their cannon fodder, our hard earned treasure to finance it and relinquish my personal liberties.

Secession has already been attained. We must end the Federal occupation of the sovereign States of the Confederacy or else we will continue to slide towards Sodom and Gomorrah.

"Choreographed?" you ask. Yes...let's face it...the whole primary process this time around was a farce. In my opinion, the only two candidates that I really wanted to get the nomination were personally destroyed by both political parties and by the Marxist media, and that was Herman Cain and Ron Paul.

While Cain and Paul are not carbon copies in ideology, I believe that each had more to contribute than Romney.

Water under the bridge.

Now we have to endure the complete insanity of Romney vs Obama for the office of Emperor or Tyrant. While I believe none of these men will be a Friend of the South, I do believe Romney will cancel the federal war on the Catholic Church and other Christian faiths. As far as the other liberties that we've lost over the last 150 years, I have no illusions of them being restored any time soon.

All that being said, I do believe Romney is a better choice than Obama, even though I think an Obama victory will hasten a return to a free Confederacy quicker than a Romney victory. You've read my thoughts on this before and I still remain conflicted about this as I want nothing more than to live a life free of the Empire and it's tentacles, do what is best for my family, work at the job I want, buy the house I want and do to my property what is best by *my* standards, eat the food *I* want to eat, drink raw milk without worrying about incarceration from state and federal authorities. I don't want drones flying over my house, I don't care what a bunch of idiots in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Russia or where ever the hell they are, are doing, saying or whatever.

As Jefferson Davis famously said, I "just want to be left alone". That's it, end of story. End of post.

Get the Empire out of Dixie!!
I mean, the GOP is (if one can really say this) a little more Southern friendly than the white-hating, Southern-hating, self-hating, abortion-loving Stalinists in the former party of Jefferson. I am sure Thomas Jefferson is spinning in his grave today as he is watching from On High what is happening to his nation and his party, which loves to mention him publicly when they're not lying about him privately.

I saw, with amusement, the speech from the governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia as he likened himself amongst the ranks of Jefferson and Henry and thought to myself, "really??" Sorry Governor, with all due respect, you and your contemporaries cannot hold a candle to these brave men. Maybe once you've invested the same amount of money, sweat and blood I can start to think about it.

In the meantime, as the continued coronation of Mitt Romney continues, please know that the spies of the Confederacy are watching in keen interest.
And many don't know who each other are, but I can say there is a least one Southern Nationalist/Secessionist that will be at the RNC....and they are *not* the protesters.

I will go out on a limb and say that any Confederate would get a better treatment at the RNC as opposed to the DNC, which is irony in the least. What a difference 150 years makes!Confederate Papisthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09234415577648475518noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7188856637380054982.post-35913666518949250822012-08-25T08:20:00.001-07:002012-08-25T08:20:24.804-07:00The ElectionNo. Not this one. This one is already over. Think about what you need to do by 2016.

With Obama it's: "what do you want?" - "SOCIALISM!!" - "when do you want it?" - "NOW!!!!!!"

With Romney it'll be: "what do you want?" - "SOCIALISM!!" - "when do you want it?" - "um...in a little while, I guess...is that okay? While you're not looking?"

So which is worse; pure unadulterated, straight shooting totalitarianism by a sociopathic Tyrant, or soft tyranny by a former capitalist-turned-politican?

Don't get me wrong. I am very conflicted on this. In one scenario I see an Obama victory as a victory for the re-birth of Southern Independence....though I fear it will be a bloody one because he will not let the States go peacefully, just like his "hero" Lincoln. He'll use drones, planes and other heavy artillery and wreak havoc on the citizenry of the South. Even if the sons and daughters of the South who are currently serving in the federal military refuse to fire upon their own people, Obama will surely find willing volunteers in many of the Occupy/Black Panther/Organised Labour and other movements that are die hard supporters of his. I don't fear so much for myself as I do my wife and children, and those who are weak and elderly as they will be easy targets for the empire's forces.

The other scenario holds a Romney victory. While it may save the Union fiscally and financially, it will continue the the existence of the Yankee Empire. The bull in the china closet, the world's bully. I don't know whether Romney will cancel out Obamacare like he's promising....he may just neutralise it. So, in my opinion, a Romney victory will slow the slide towards Sodom and Gomorrah.

As you look at a map of the continent, you will see that people who favour a more totalitarian (womb to tomb) government are in most major cities and in the northern part of North America (NA), while in the Southern and mid-Southwestern parts prefer a more republican style government. So I ask, why the union? If a relationship goes bad, don't the participants (after trying to resolve the problems), resort to seperation, if not dissolution of the union/relationship? Why can it not happen again? Who says that Washington DC is the end all/be all? Surely not even the US Constitution says that!! So why do you sit there and live in fear of a entity that has no more power than what is spelled out on a piece of paper written over the course of 230 years? Why are you giving them that power? Look at yourself...then look at your community...then your state...then look at the US Constitution and decide whether you're better off with them or without.

I've made my choice.
The only thing I am adding (hindsight is such a pain in the rear sometimes) is I advise the same advice for all Orthodox Roman Catholics and other Orthodox Christians who hold to biblical teachings:

Be prepared for the re-election of the Tyrant Obama. It will
happen. Voter fraud is rampant and the Republicans are too weak to challenge it
because they don't want to appear as racist, sore losers or mean-spirited. I
also believe it's because they really don't care about the results because as
long as they still get a seat at the table of power in the USA, they will be
happy. They do *not* care about you....bottom line.

Make sure your passports are up to date. If you don't plan
to leave, then make sure you join a local League of the South chapter or start
your own local chapter. Make sure you have plenty of emergency rations. Make
sure you are armed adequately, and reach out to your neighbours to ensure that
you all will look out for each other. Your neighbourhood may be the safest
place for you.

Question: where did Mr. Cathey say he "hated" gays or gay (so-called) marriage?

Answer: He didn't. He DID say his Christian faith was at odds (it's called paraphrasing people) with gay (so-called) marriage, but no where did he SAY he hated it.

Read Mayor Thomas Menino's ridiculous comments in the linked article: http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/christians-say-chick-fil-a-under-siege-by-militant-gays.html

Fine. The mayor sounds like a little girl who got her dolly stolen from her. Hey, Ms. Menino, we don't need your so-called tolerance or your money afterall.

If I was the Cathey family, I'd shake the dust of Boston (and anywhere else in Yankeedom) off of my feet and build my Chick Fil A somewhere else. When I saw that at first, I thought maybe it was for internal purposes, you know, like MP's. But I was wrong. To wit:

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_MARINES_LAW_ENFORCEMENT_BATTALION?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2012-07-22-17-33-46

The pull quote that jumped out a me was: " 'Am I a Marine or a cop? Can I be both?" he said. "Cops apply human rights law and Marines apply the law of war. Now that it's blended, it makes it tougher for the young men and women who have to make the decision as to when deadly force is not appropriate.' "

The thing that gets me is the AP, who is doing the reporting, is quick to say it's for fighting against drug cartels and other criminal elements, in South America and other places. What they're not saying is what are the chances these elite forces will be utilised by local law enforcement agencies? What if Cobb County, Georgia needs "assistance" in tracking drug runners on Interstate 75? When will it end? Any time the government expands it's power, it's a 99.9999999999999999% chance they will not surrender it. We already have too much federal intervention, why are the people allowing this to happen?

May the souls of the dearly departed rest in peace.
In today's instant gratification, materialistic society, that dog don't hunt.

Many people in the media, political spectrums and religious organisations play up on wealth envy, class envy, ill-gotten gains, etc....but where did it come from?

Some say it's as old as civilisation itself.

Some say it's something Karl Marx put forth in his writings.

Some say it's something the Progressives ginned up.

I say it's more like "all of the above".

While I don't doubt that Mug-wuh the cave man was jealous that his neighbour, Wug-muh had a bigger and nicer cave, I don't really think Mug-wuh wanted Wug-muh's income taxed at a significantly higher rate.

So why is all this talk about rich paying their fair share, etc., so prominent in today's public conversation? Are we really seeing the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer because the rich are cheating the system or are just plain old jerks who want us plebes to drink dirty water, breathe dirty air and drive death-trap vehicles?

No.

The rich need us as much as we need the rich.

They need people to work to help them make money.

We need jobs, so we can get paid, to spend on food, housing, cars, bling, etc.

That money we spend goes to....erm..people who own businesses that employ people that want to get paid so they can....you get the picture.

Then along comes government....they produce no goods, add no value and make rules they themselves don't follow, but expect us to. They, with the help of their agents in the media, spread propaganda and lies to divide the population; blacks/whites/red/yellow/brown, Catholics/Protestants/Jews/Muslims, rich/middle class/poor until there's one big fuster cluck. Political anarchy ensues and the government is the only one who wins....lefties and righties. The people get screwed and don't even get kissed.

If we really wanted to get back to basics, we should take a little walk through the Ten Commandments every once in a while. Today's society is an anathema to them. Everything that is popularised is a direct cancellation of a Commandment. We need to work on reversing that. If we do, divorce goes away, gay marriage goes away, crime goes down, atheism goes down, and yes...wealth envy goes down.

Jesus said we'll always have the poor but we won't always have Him. Hmmm.....sounds different now to me than it did before. Perhaps if we have more of Him, we'll have less poor?

Today is that day for me.
Please pray for me that it gets better and that I don't go on a verbal killing spree......
